Hammet House is a new luxury hotel on the the Pembrokeshire / Ceredigion border, with the river Teifi running through its landscaped grounds.
The Grade II listed Georgian country house, built by Sir Benjamin Hammet in 1795, has been brought into 21st century by owners Owen and Philippa Gale.
The couple have introduced a playful, humorous touch to their restoration of this elegant mansion. Tongue-in-cheek animal heads made from pressed cardboard grace some of the walls, one reception room sports pillarbox red retro furnishings, while splashes of primrose yellow paint bring a sunny quality to the interior.
