Ingredients - Biscuit Base

  1. Blitz the digestives, melt the butter and add to the digestives.
  2. Press the mixture into a lightly oiled 9 inch removable bottom tart tin to form the base - then chill.
  3. Set a heatproof mixing bowl over a slowly simmering pan of water.
  4. Add all of the topping ingredients (minus the salt) and stir from time to time until amalgamated.
  5. Add salt to taste.
  6. Pour the chocolate mixture over the biscuit base and chill until set.
  7. Use a warm knife to loosen the sides from the tin if necessary.
  8. Serve with fresh whipped cream or ice cream.
